Tiny Eden Gamepad
Current controller setup guidance covering remapping, camera fixes, Steam Deck use, and remaining input caveats.

Current controller experience
Gamepad buttons can now be rebound directly from the Controls menu. Keyboard and controller options share this screen, which displays inputs for the device currently in use.
Recent fixes addressed controller camera options that previously saved without affecting the camera. Vertical camera movement is no longer inverted, and Game Cursor can restore the system cursor.
The developer has said Tiny Eden will work on Steam Deck. However, one player reported needing the right trackpad and custom back-grip or D-pad mappings, while an ALT-dependent tutorial interaction remained a problem.
Controller setup questions
- Which controller options should I configure first?
- Open Controls to rebind the gamepad, then test the camera settings and cursor behavior. Remapping now works, camera-setting behavior has been corrected, and Game Cursor can restore the system cursor.
- Can I rely on the default Steam Deck layout?
- The developer says the game will work on Steam Deck, but one player found the default controls insufficient. That player preferred the right trackpad, remapped functions to the back grips and D-pad, and encountered an ALT-dependent tutorial step that did not respond to remapping.
